TREND RADIO… HAS ARRIVED

Tring Radio was the fastest expanding volunteer run non-profit based radio station in the South East of England - and we've been very busy having a lick of paint in our new Trend Radio studios in Herts and Bucks and are back as Trend Radio.

About Trend Radio

Trend Radio started our early life originally as Tring Radio, initially setup in light of the worldwide "lockdown" to bring news, information and music to our local residents and the surrounding communities. Tring Radio rapidly became a fast expending digital radio station with its own studios and over 40 volunteers, giving real local people a voice, supporting local businesses and charities and above all, allowing people with a passion for music and entertaining to present on the radio. 

Since starting the station over 100 volunteers have come through our doors, some of whom have gone onto amazing careers within the radio industry with larger commercial stations and we are so proud to have been a part of their journey into radio!

Four years on from the inception of Tring Radio, we realise that we have outgrown the name and have decided to rebrand ourselves as Trend Radio, to take the winning formula across the three counties, across the heart of the Chilterns and beyond, and the name, well because obviously we are leading the way in the resurgance of new look local radio always “On Trend”!

Lord Reith, the BBC’s first Director General got it right when he said: “inform, educate and entertain” - that’s what we’re here for, but with much much more. At the forefront of everything we broadcast, is the commitment on being proper local radio. Located in the heartland of the Chiltern hills and Aylesbury Vale; We transmit across South East of England, concentrating on the counties of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire online via smart speaker or website and our free Apple & Android apps, which can be easily integrated into your car radio via bluetooth. You can listen to Trend Radio LIVE or on-demand, anywhere in the UK!

As we expand our reach across Herts, Bucks and Beds, we are keeping YOUR community at the heart of what we do, and continuing to keep you entertained, playing you the greatest hits and keeping you informed and connected. On Trend!
